I took my 4 and 6 year old children to see this and we are still singing the theme song the morning after. It was a sweet story and there were many times where my kids laughed out loud during the film. The look of the film is beautiful and the plot took many unexpected turns that kept the adults entertained as well. While my children did not find anything scary, there was a younger child near us who got upset a few times (goldfish appearing dead, etc.) so I wouldn't bring a child younger than 4.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
