The movie was OK, we've sat through worse, but no reason this was in 3D other than to get more ticket money. Nothing pops out or provides depth. It's just an expensive movie, and only a fair at that. Too bad they don't have a 2D version.
OK, once you get past Pierce Brosnan NOT being able to sing, you really get into the fun and farce of this musical. The songs and the landscape are great - the acting is fine. Meryl, though she is really good in this film, is still typical Meryl in face and expression. The entire rest of the cast makes up for these 2 leads' shortfalls.
