Not classic Star Wars

"The Clone Wars" is a lavish animation with beautiful visuals and sound. The story follows Anakin and his Padawan, a young female protege he calls "Snips", as they are sent on a mission to rescue the son of Jabba the Hutt, taken hostage by agents of the Sith. The film moves along very quickly, as Star Wars films do, and is filled with exciting action. However, the storyline never quite engaged me. The film is aimed at pre-teens and young teens, so the dialogue is filled with quips and snappy come-backs. "The Clone Wars" doesn't come close to the other films in terms of story, or characterization.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
