Dark Knight

While everything is well done here in the form of production, CG, writing, and acting; it is a very dark version of the Dark Knight. Your take on this movie will depend on your taste for edgy, aggressive storylines. It's well put together as an installment for DC. Please consider your kids if you plan on taking them as I personally don't think this represents a good family movie. It's more in line for adults.

Iron Man comes out strong!

Saw the movie opening night. I give it a 4 out of 5. I was very pleased to see the movie live up to the hype. Too many times they let you down (Incredible Hulk), but Marvel continues on a smooth pace w/ Iron Man. Downey was a decent choice. I had skepticisms about him being the lead, but he did very well. As far as the plot, love interest, etc., it was more than enough to keep driving the story along. 2 hours in length, but one of those that you don't realize it till you get up stiff. However, very much worth it! There aren't many blockbusters these days, but this should end up being one of the best on the year. I'm a big fan of CG when done right, and in thise case Marvel once again came through. You're emotionally drawn in to the "Iron Man Environment" and begin to think of all the possibilities w/in that universe while enjoying a pleasureable cinematic experience. Personally, I don't purchase many movies because they usually aren't worth it, but this will be on the list to purchase on BD when it hits. It can go along w/ Spiderman, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Superman on the shelf. It's worth it folks, go see Iron Man!
