good animation, good story

My son and I enjoyed this movie tremendously. The animation and story come together very nicely, and the voices were a perfect match for the characters. My only complaint was the cost for IMAX 3D - it was almost double the regular price. If this kind of mark up is what is in store for all movies in the future, we'll be going to the movies far less frequently.

My son has read all of the books and couldn't get enough of the movie. I noticed a little Chris Farley in Rowley (especially the dancing) and thought they did a great job conveying the same attitude as in the books. Good message too about sticking by your friends.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
