The movie trailer is better than the actual movie. The plot/story is thin, but present. The casting bring in a whole new generation the series. The only thing that was lacking was more runtime and a new director. The best part was the CGI and visual effects. *SPOILER* If you remember all the terminator movies, you will be thrilled when Arnold "the Senator" makes a cameo.
This was a fun movie for all ages. I especially like the casting of Seth Rogen. He added some very good comic relief at the right time. The movie did struggle with getting major ideas and themes out to the audience. It had a nice feel the way that it had a female heroin instead of the typical male hero. But the main point of the movie was very strong and clear. That was: that every person should and can be their own self.
As always the Jonas Concert has horrible acoustics. The good thing was they stuck to popular songs. The movie displays an actual superb image of the Concert and the 3D was the best I've ever seen. The suprise guests lit up the screen. Demi Lovato and Taylor Swift rounded out the concert well. The thing that did it for me was Demi. This movie should have been rated PG because of the brief nudity by the brothers.
