A should see movie because everyone will have something to say about it. As like other suspense thrillers, if you can get over the holes in the plot it is a cool ride. Acting isn't as important as the story, and is average for Tom Hanks.
Even though Liam Neeson is a fine actor, and the action had plenty of twists and turns, the holes in the story were annoying, and the characterizations of all the supporting players were too mono-dimensional. Playing on every parent's fears, it had elements of a Lifetime extravaganza. I would recommend to anyone who was in for a mindless evening and had already seen everything else in the cineplex. You can wait for the DVD on this one.
