PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE forget about the ol' school Star Trek if this is preventing you from seeing this summer blockbuster movie done right. Although there are some real gems sprinkled throughout the movie if you are familiar with the original series, you will do a dire disservice to yourself and good movie making if you decide to skip this one. The sexy reinvenvention drips with action and does not lack in a poignant plot. Do yourself a favor and ignite your 2009 summer-movie season with this must-see!
