I AGREE WITH A PREVIOUS REVIEWER..RED TAILS WAS NOT PERFECT, BUT, IT WAS VERY GOOD. I ENJOYED THE YOUNG ACTORS THAT WE HAVE ALL SEEN IN OTHER TV SHOWS OR MOVIES. RED TAILS MADE THEM SHINE! THE ACTION WAS EXCITING AND THE STORY WAS GOOD.
MY SON HAD JUST INTERVIEWED MY FRIENDS FATHER WHO WAS ALSO A TUSKEGEE AIRMAN FOR HIS SCHOOL REPORT. HE ALSO ENJOYED THE FILM. WE ALL NEED MORE HISTORICAL MOVIES LIKE THIS...HOW ABOUT BESSIE COLEMAN..BLACK FEMALE PILOT...
THIS MOVIE WAS VERY WELL MADE. I ENJOYED THE DEVELOPMENT AND REDEFINING OF THE CHARACTERS, THE INTENSITY FOR PART 2. WATCHING THE CTORS GROW INTO THEIR ROLES AND ACT LIKE TEENS IS REFRESHING. BRING ON PART 2!!
MY FAMILY(AGES 14-63) REALLY LIKED THIS FILM. IWAS SURPRISED ABOUT THE ROMANTIC THEME IN THE FILM..AND IT HAD LOTS OF ACTION!(EXPECTED) GOOD JOB BY THE ACTORS..YESI T'S LONG BUT IT WAS OKAY!
The actors were good. especially LaBeouf. It just didn't have the fresh edginess of the first Wall Street. I only recommend it to see for LaBeuof and Douglas' performance.
Boring!1 The actual Dinner was near the end of the movie!! The rest was bad acting and didn't make a bit of since!! My friends walked out with several other people. I suffered aloong because I promised my son and hubby that i would stick it out....OMG! 1 HOUR AND 50 MINUTES OF MY LIFE I WILL NEVER GET BACK!!
Oceans paled in comparison to the wonderful job Planet Earth film accomplished. The Disney film was too long and not as spectacular as Planet Earth. Perhaps because i had seen similar footage in previous films, so I wanted to be dazzled by a big budget. My fav scene in the film was the fishing boat being tossed about the storm driven ocean...fascinating!.Other reviewers were upset by the scene of the sea lion being eaten by the whale..please that was tamecompared to other documentaries and having a child sit thru a 2 hour movie isnt very wise for the child nor the folks in the audience. Lookat reviews or see movies first tosee if is appropriate for kids.Me I amgoing to watch Planet earth again..
I enjoyed this laugh out loud film!! Chris Rock was hilarious.I truly enjoyed Loretta Devine andDanny Glover. It wasalsogreat seeing Ron Glass ! There was one scene with potty humor(literally) that had the whole audience laughing and disgsted all at once I have seen many mixed reviews from critics but take the advice from folks who paid...GO SEE IT!!
I don't remember seeing previews of this movie, I just taged along with my hubby and 13 year old son. I was expecting a silly knock off. I was plesantly suprised with the story and I liked the documentary style of filming. There were no Super heroes, just a real view of mankind...not good.A reflective story, give it another try for those who walked out of the theater.
I was ready for action, a great story , new info we didnt know about Dillenger!! I got lots of shooting no insight of the criminal and two hours and twenty three minutes of my life I won't get back!! Watch the Biography or History channel for story and insight . The gunslinging was a dime a dozen. Cosumeswere great and Depp and Bale are cute. Thus far Godfather 1 & 2 are still Kings!!..Wait for netflix!
My husband and I took our 12year old son. I was skeptical after reading the reviews by critics. The movie was very good! The 3-D effects were awesome. I enjoyed the voices of the characters. They were not over whelming (ex. Eddie Murphy in Shrek and anything with Gotfried)...The story line was easy to follow and the jokes suitable for everyone. The theater was full of laughter from kids to adults alike.
