My family watched this movie and we were all entertained. The story line was a bit predictable, but the characters and the animation were fantastic. The imaginaion and talent of the creators is outstanding. Humor on several levels entertained all of us. The music track added to the humor for the adults. We will miss Shrek, as this is the last in the series.
Very funny. Typical slap-stick comedy and true to the character. Just seeing Steve Martin in character and hearing his crazy French dialect make you laugh. As the Inspector, he continues to bust beyond acceptable social boundaries, and you find yourself just cringing (and laughing). The two restaurant experiences were my favorite scenes. Andy Garcia, Lily Tomlin, and Emily Mortimer were great, too. A great 2-hour escape from our all too serious world.
Definitely funny. Story line is a bit corny, but you can relate to the "nice guy" in Paul Blart. You definitely feel sorry and connect with him. Several scenes have laugh-out-loud quality. The last 1/3 of the movie has losts of suspense and laughs.
