How the Hulk should be shown..

I felt a bit worried at first - Bruce Banner was way too skinny, I was afraid when the Hulk bulked up it would be silly.
It wasn't. You have to remember this is a comic book, not a science book, but outside of the size, the movie didn't go out of it's way to insult you. Instead there was a fun, action-filled show with enough dialogue to make sure the viewer could keep up (mostly), but it wasn't a talk-to-death like so much lately.
If you are ready for fun, go. You might catch few of the in-jokes along the way.
