Brilliant Movie - Sure To Win Many Awards

If you appreciate brilliant acting from an outstanding cast in an historical movie about a little known (outside of England) aspect of the early life of King George VI , who succeeded his brother, Edward VIII, who abdicated the throne of England for the woman he loved, twice divorced Wallis Simpson of Baltimore, Maryland, than "The King's Speech" is your cup of tea. I have a newly found admiration for the late King George VI, father of the present reigning Queen Elizabeth II, and for Colin Firth's excellent portrayal of the King. Also, the wonderful portrayal of Lionel Logue, the speech therapist, by Geoffrey Rush. The entire cast was excellent. I highly recommend this movie and expect it to be the recipient of many Golden Globe, SAG and Academy Awards!!!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Fascinating From Beginning To End

A very riveting movie that keeps the viewer spellbound from beginning to the surprising end. Although, 2 hours and 20 minutes long, it starts slowly, but picks up momentum and moves faster as the story progresses. It is a shocking presentation of the diabolical means to achieving a goal, while believing, at the same time, that this is the Will of God. Much as we see today in radical Islamism, but in this case, it is Catholicism. If you are looking for an action movie with an excellent cast, and lots of chases, blood, gore, fantasy, twists, turns and surprises, this is your movie. Don't miss it!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Doubt

"Doubt" is an excellent movie with academy award performances by Meryl Streep & Philip Seymour Hoffman as well as outstanding supporting role performances by Viola Davis and Amy Adams. Catholics, especially those who attended parochial schools in the 50's & 60's will particularly enjoy the memories brought back of their classroom days. And, bring some Kleenex, at least a couple of scenes will pull on your heart strings. If you are a Meryl Streep fan, you will definitely not want to miss this movie. This is Streep at her best. As much as you love her, she will make you hate her - she is that good! Don't miss it! This will be an award winner for her.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
