Just Hilarious

Great comedy. There are many excellent performances. Kristen Wiig is far funnier than any of her Saturday Night Live skits show. I particularly found the sister in law to be out of this world funny.

3D was unnecessary and poorly executed. Nothing like Avatar. Nothing made sense. Characters were cartoonish stereotypes. Acting bad.

Very Good Movie

This movie is for adults, in the best sense, and very well done with a great cast. It represents a welcome relief from the current wasteland within the movie industry populated mostly by content-empty, special-effects-laden movies designed apparently for 12 year old boys. It's the best movie so far this year, in my opinion. It's also bitter-sweet for me in that it may represent the last movie celebrating good newspaper journalism with the decline and probably imminent disappearance of the newspaper as we know it on the horizon.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
