I'm not a big Eddie Murphy fan but my granddaughter wanted to see it. It really wasn't bad but I likely would not have gone had it not been for her....there is a good story line and it was entertaining.
While SATC has been advertised as a girls movie, I would venture to say that it goes beyond that. Men may not want to see the movie but girls can get enough out of it to use in their personal lives.....forgiveness, asking yourself "is it me," "what am I contributing to the problem." It also enhanced my love of New York City. I think what will be even better than the movie is the discussion afterwards.
What a delightful movie showing how we take friendships for granted, and how it takes a major turn of events to see just how important little things mean to you.
Story showed how gullible and trusting we can be. It also shows how unhappy many people are in their routine life styles. It was not at all predictable as many movies are; however, there were times when it was a little slow.
