Bad Lt is a pretty good movie. Unforuately they decided to us the "Bad Lt" name. It makes it sound like a remake or a sequal. It is own movie. The downside is that if one is looking for the raunch and shock and graphic nature of the Harvey Kietal film, it is not there. This is a wide realease feature film. I don;t even think it shows breast in this one. I know I will get flammed, but I think this movie may be better shot and paced then the earlier films. there is a running reptile theme as Nic Cage descends into madness. There are guite a few set pieces that have a steady coherent flow. Looks like Cage got his groove back!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Underpubbed but feature guality

Last night I saw the strip, afterwards the director and an actor had a Q and A. Apparently the distributor is really not promoting it, which is a shame. It has Dave Foley from the Kids in the Hall. It is marketed to be like Office space or the 40 year virgin, but it is more in tone to "Waiting" without the gross out jokes. The reviews said it is overlong and badly editted, but I actually found it to be well paced and edited. I would say ignore the critics and see the film. It is pretty good, and better then a lot of movies out there
