Movie was visually beautiful. Dialogue was awful and very amateurish. The female lead was excellent! IMAX 3D was not good, glasses cloudy.

Madame Butterfly was extraordinary. The opera was beautiful with excellent performers. What an opportunity to see the Met from the comfort of my local movie theater! Having the backstage interviews was something I look forward to every time I go to the HD presentation. You see all the work that goes into the performance and get to meet the performers. If you want to just see the opera, go to the Met in person not to the movies!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
