Visually Breathtaking Film

Avatar 3D exceeded my expectations on every level. The film is visually breathtaking. The beauty present in the Pandora nature scenes is amazing. The 3D worked really well. After about 5 minutes, I forgot I was wearing the glasses. The message delivered in the movie is a little heavy handed and the character motivations are somewhat simplistic but overall the story really works. Definitely worth seeing on the big screen!

This movie is absolutely hilarious in spots. However, it mixes the comedic elements with some serious issues, especially mental illness. Some of the transitions between comedy and (what should be) serious moments are kind of abrupt. Still, if you are a Seth Rogen fan, it's a must see.
