Great Character Actors

I enjoyed this version of True Grit. The little girl stole the movie. Josh Brolin and Barry Pepper did an outstanding job! Jeff Bridges role didn't seem a stretch for him. He was good not great. Matt Damon again was good, but I think Barry Pepper in that role would have brought that role to another level. The ending disappointed me. I left the movie thinking why end a good movie that way? Almost every character actor in the movie surpassed expectations. I'd recommend it.

Excellent movie that is extremely entertaining but hard to describe. I found the pace of the movie fine. Also I would highly recommend AMC IMAX experience for this movie. I can't even imagine this movie not getting an award for best screenplay.

M. Night Shymalan seems to be losing his touch. Lady in the Water, now this? Acting was forced humor, think may have been better without it. More like real life. Premise of movie just didn't work for me, but i'm still routing for the GREAT director!!! I still go see all your movies. I just can't recommend this one.
