I really enjoyed this movie and look forward to seeing it again soon. The book was brought to life in a way critics don't like but...who cares what professional critics think! I loved the characters, the new director, and the new comedic lines that were added in some parts. I've read each book a few times and really feel like the new director captured the essense of what the writer was trying to portray.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
