This is an excellent movie, deserving all the good things being said about it. Jeff Bridges is superb. While there are some smiles in it, it can be difficult to watch -- nothing wrong with the movie, it just tackles some harsh realities of life and does a fine job of depicting people going through them. You find yourself really liking and rooting for the characters, even as you suspect things might not all turn out the way they would like. And the music is both appropriate and very good. Well worth seeing, highly recommended, one of the very best movies of the past year.
An enjoyable movie -- interesting/fun characters, very nicely filmed. I still enjoy watching the actors age over time, just as their characters do. I found the plot a bit harder to follow this time than in previous installments and had to ask my wife, who had read the book, for some clarification afterwards. Definitely sets the stage for Deathly Hallows, but I sympathize with Harry fanatics who will have to wait two years for final resolution, with that last book to be covered in two more movies!
