The humor and wit is there from the previous MIB movies. The aliens are cool, the story line unique. But something is missing. Perhaps we do not want K to be nice? The young K is acted wonderfully, but I missed the old K's dry disposition. J keeps asking "what happened to you" and when we find out the answer is him (J) it is sweet, but it seems inappropriately so. I left the movie wanting more, which is a good thing, but strangely feeling like I lost something.
Pros well paced
Yes, I recommend this movie.

previews mislead you

Watching the previews for this movie, I was expecting a story about a boy and his magical world ala Harry Potter or The Sourcerer's Apprentice. What you get is a sweet story about the early days of French Film making, mixed with an Oliver Twist, Orphen style story. I laughed at times, I cried at times. But The actual movie is day and night different from the previews.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
