If you have already read the book, you will be wondering if you were the only one. There is nothing in the movie that follows any of the original story line other than there was a man named Lincoln who used an axe to kill vampires. If you haven't read the book, you will be entertained but will have missed a wonderfully developed and researched novel. I had to just pretend that this was a brand new adventure.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Missed Opportunity

They could have done so much with this and they really just didn't. I found it ridiculous to even show it in 3D as the effects didn't utilize it at all. Poorly done cut aways made the film disjointed. Not sure what they spent to make this but it came across as a very poorly put together mess.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
