With all the hype about the movie we were expecting the same impact as when we first saw Raiders of the Lost Ark and Star Wars. Even Titanic had more of a storyline and visual impact.
The storyline was what we have seen before. America taking natural resources and destroying civilization's in the process. An important message but poorly presented.
The graphics and visual effects were amusing but not significantly better than other movies.
I was bored after the first hour and it got better once the action started but it was a "shootem up" movie from that point forward.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
