Well Performed Adaptation

Honestly, Twilight was better than I expected. The actors' performances were convincing and exciting. I felt that every effort was made to hold true to the spirit of the story, while still creating a coherent film. There were surprises and certainly things that I viewed differently when reading the book, but I think that is part of the beauty of imagination and interpretation between the two mediums. As an adult fan of Twilight, I especially thought that the tension and almost awkwardness of Bella and Edward throughout the film is much closer to how teenagers interact when there is attraction than they probably realize, so it is fun to watch.
