I enjoyed the movie, but do not consider it a comedy. Much more serious than I expected. Great subject matter and presented so well. Refreshing to see a marriage actually succeed! There is that reality believe it or not! Hard to see Steve Carrell in a serious role, but he did great! Tommy Lee Jones is a great Middle Aged slacker. Gives wonderful insight into some men at that stage in life. I would think many men would be able to relate to his character having an "aha" moment when "Arnold" finally opens up. We went to see this movie thinking it would be light hearted and an evening of laughter. Not the case. There were funny/cute moments, but the majority of the movie, IMO, is more serious and maybe a little slow at times.
