This movie was enjoyable and sweet, without being sappy or too scary. My sons are 8 and 5, and they loved it! And so did their 38 year old mom! There were lots of laughs, and none of the toilet humor that is so prevalent today. A movie like this one also helps reinforce the childhood beliefs and dreams we'd like our kids to hold on to for as long as they can. It is a "good vs evil" plot, and the bad guy is scary but I don't think it's over the top and my 5 year old was okay with it.
