Suprisingly good!

I should start by saying that I had low expectations going in. This was definitely my wife's choice. The first 15 minutes or so only reinforced my fear that this would be a formulaic, overly sentimental waste of time. Soon, though, I found myself fully enjoying the characters and, in particular, the intricate relationship between father and son. When the movie ended, I was surprised, thinking "it's already been 108 minutes? I guess that probably sums it up best for me.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
