This movie was great! A wonderful job of balancing action scenes with dialogue....Some recent action films have scenes that go on and on to the point of being boring.
All the actors played their roles exceedingly well - I wish there had been a little more character development on Bruce Wayne. Heath Ledger did a SPECTACULAR job with the role of Joker.
The editing on the 'gory' scenes was refreshing, cutting away just in time as to not witness the act, but with enough information (and sound effects) to know exactly what happens. I wish Hollywood would use this technique more often!
The special effects were also wonderful....not overdone and very believable.
The only 'bad' part to this movie is that we can't look forward to sequel with the Best Joker ever - Heath Ledger -.....So Sad )-;
Yes, I recommend this movie.
