My wife and I thought the movie was wonderful. We liked all of the actors and the premise. Some might think it ran a little slow but we thought the pace was fine. The connecting of the dots was inevitable but and we had fun trying to figure out how Eastwood would accomplish that.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I thought it was a thought provoking movie and the best I've seen this year. I thought Kate Winslet deserved the AA for her performance.

Contrived and predictable

I thought the movie was contrived and predictable. Watching Roarke was interesting and almost unrecognizable from his former self
and maybe deserved an award but I thought it was a "Rocky" sort of movie and very predictable.
