Much ado about nothing

George Clooney's character starts out about as shallow and unconnected as one can be, and ends up the same way. So why should we care about this movie? Yes, the acting is good and the characters could be interesting, but the movie goes nowhere. Clooney has the opportunity to change and come down from his "up in the air" complete isolation from the human race, but can't. The movie ultimately leaves you with nothing.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
