Having one of those "I need to let go of it" days? This is a great movie to take in.
A "Romantic Comedy" with plenty of laughs, and just enough "romance" to keep it "real". OK, the premise isn't to beliveable and there are plenty of "that couldn't happen" moments. But it's FUN!
Sandra Bullock is totally believable as the "ballsy editor-dominatrix". Ryan Reynolds is her perfect counterpart as the "eager, but not heart-less" over-achieving assistant. They are well matched.
Betty White! SHE IS A HOOT! as the "older but incredibly hip" grandmother.
Predictable outcome? Yes... But isn't that what you want in a "my day sucked, need a good movie to turn it around" sort of movie?
Yes, I recommend this movie.
