Amazing what computers can do. Sure I rather not see REAL effects that would cause global warming and such. It was the same story line played out over and over again. The part where Danny Glover (The Pres.) looks up out of the ashes and sees the big wave and carrier crashing down on him was espcially silly but movies like this are suppose to be silly. We all go there for the eye candy of effects and for that we were not short changed.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
