Ben Affleck has now proven that not only is he a good actor, this was one of his better acting movies, he also is a top notch writer and director. Loved the tension between Doug and Jem and loved the scene at Fenway Park. Affleck should film all of his movies in Boston. He's from there and seemingly knows that city inside and out.
Inception was the perfect remedy for all of the remakes, sequals, and bad movies that have come out this year. Special effects were amazing, acting was solid, and the plot was really not that hard to understand if you really think about it. Definately worth seeing in Imax. As of right now is, in my view, the best movie of the year.
Winters Bone is one of those movies that gets you hooked on it's plot and keeps you hooked throughout the film. Sundance picked a great movie for one of it's awards and Jennifer Lawrence deserves an oscar nomination for the lead role.
Toy Story 3 was one of the best animated films I have ever seen. In a way I'm glad that it took a while between the the second one and this one because Disney/Pixar had the time to make this movie perfect. This movie unlike the previous 2 had a perfect blend of fun and emotional moments. I even cried during this movie. Don't waste money on the IMAX but definately see this movie. You will not be disappointed.
I personally enjoyed all the action and it's always fun to see Russell Crow kicking butt as some ancient figure. The plot could have been a little clearer but other than that it was a solid film
This movie was interesting because it didn't focus on saving the ocean. I really loved how it focused on the animals that live in the ocean plus talking about what they do to eat and survive. Very well shot and Pierce Brosnan was a solid narrator choice.
An excellent remake of the original and besides UP is the top animated film I've seen this year. Loved how some of the scenes made me jump out of my seat. Jim Carrey does an excellent Scrooge. Definately see it in IMAX 3D if you can to get the full experience of this wonderful movie.
Topic was interesting and acting was good but sometimes the story was hard to follow. You couldn't tell if Whitacre's story was just something in his mind or if he really was telling the truth. Overall though a pretty good movie.
This was a great movie that had a great story with a lot of suspense thrown in. You never knew what was going to happen whether it was a bomb exploding or the squad getting attacked. I would totally recommend this movie to anyone.
the movie was very exciting with loads of action and some of the robots were funny (twin robots) Only bad thing was that some of the scenes made you dizzy due to the imax cameras.
