"Slumdog Millionaire" is the tale of a boy, raised in appalling conditions of poverty and cruelty, told as a series of flashbacks. That sounds very ordinary, but this movie is far from that. It is a totally integrated presentation of violent emotions and violent physical acts. The casting, the direction, the art direction and the sound track are all assaultive, hard to bear and completely expressive.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
