Technical mastery, tired story & script.

I give this 3 stars on the technical achievement, which is as amazing as Titanic for James Cameron. However, I wasn't as thrilled as most other people are with the movie as an artistic work. The ecology message and storyline is as expected as old as the hills. "Save your planet or your planet will get you back." This movie rips scenes and lines from classic blockbusters left and right-- the corny lines, scenes and nuances from Top Gun, Star Wars, and the like abound. at times this movie is downright corny. Some of the characters are more like cartoons. After a while after a while it got rather boring watching blue people fill the screen. A must-see, but not an award winner.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
