Corny but the kids loved it.

If you are going to take your kids you are just going to have to deal with the corniness. Because it is. However, there is plenty of action and visual candy to keep you interested. I would have liked it to be more like the cartoon I remember but they have to start somewhere. The problem is they probably won't make a sequel. There is only one scene that really brought me back to the fun and excitement of the original cartoon. (Scene with Racer X and the the crush truck) But, for the most part, the kids really, really enjoyed it even though they had to be dragged through the "corporate corruption overtones" which is beat over your head throughout the movie. Boys under the age of 10 will love this movie. If you don't do well with motion....stay home.
