A friend and I went and LOVED it. We had so much fun! The entire audience clapped and cheered throughout the movie. We liked it well enough that we are organizing and Mamma Mia party (we'll attend with lots of friends next week).
Is there any role that Meryl Streep can't play? She was phenominal and Amanda Seyfried was adorable. Of coure, Pierce Brosnan was gorgeous and he can carry a tune, but his voice was too weak to sing duets with Meryl. He and Colin Firth should have traded roles; Colin's clear strong voice was a welcome surprise and he is equally gorgeous.

I took five 13 year old boys to the movie. Overall, they liked it but thought the special effects were "WAY CHEESY!" They liked the story but I doubt any of them liked it enough to purchase the DVD.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
