Plot is not unlike many sci-fi books about bad corporations raiders, bad military, planet being sentient, good natives, and protaganist goes native. What it does is provide visual candy and experience that you will truly enjoy. More of an video amusement ride than Shakespeare. Highly Enjoyed

The movie was done well overall. There was little chemistry between Vaughn and Weatherspoon. The movie was disjointed at times having no flow. That being said, I laughed so hard at some scenes that coke flew out my nose. Vaughn is very funny and Reese is a good actress but this is a movie that you will more likely forget over time than become a Christmas Classic(like National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation).
Wait for the video; 9.00 dollars is too much money to waste on this experience(much less the 50 I spent including food for 3 people).

Nick & Norah bring me back to my teenage years

An escape. That is what I ask for when I go to the movies. I got that and more with this movie. It reminds me of the teen movies back when I was a kid(the 1980s). It had the soundtrack, the comedy, the emotional drama of the teenage years. The acting was great. I enjoyed this movie, as did my 13 year old son. We had a discussion afterwards about alcohol and other things. Enjoyed the fact that the main characters were straight edge, no drugs, nor alcohol, and those that drank looked stupid. Highly Recommend. Watch it with your kids, and analyze the behavior of the different characters, it was educational for us.
