Read the books 3 times, saw the previous movies at least 3 times and absolutely loved this one, they keep getting better! The IMAX experience is so great, I never mind paying the extra to see a movie like this in IMAX. Can't wait to see it again (in the theatre), which I have only done with 2 or 3 other films in all the years I have been seeing films. When Taylor Lautner first appears on screen without his shirt, the audience burst out in cheers, and the 40 something woman behind me said, "Oh, if I could just be 18 again for one day." That was hilarious! Hubby liked it just as much which is saying alot considering it was a "chick flick." Highly recommend.
I just accept that the movies will NEVER be as good as the books. Important stuff gets left out. But, we thoroughly enjoyed this movie. The special effects were terrific and the acting gets better every time. We both enjoyed the gentle love stories. The battle at Hogwarts was short-changed. THIS IS NOT A MOVIE FOR KIDS! Intense conversations with complicated relationships, well beyond children's comprehensions. Even adults have to pay attention here. The magic is always there, literally and metaphorically. I anticipate the new movie, go to see it, but it’s a bittersweet experience for all Harry Potter fans – we know it is coming to an end sooner than later.
Truly enjoyed. Great casting, all the characters were in place and had the young personalities that you could see would grow into the people we have come to know so well. Interesting story, although the time/space stuff was a bit confusing. I would pay to see it again and I RARELY go to the movie theatre. Would like to see it in IMAX. Great special effects, the acting was very good, exciting movie.
