Better than 1st, still bad

The books tell a great story, but the casting in this series is downright embarrassing. New Moon is better than the first movie, but that is not saying much. Twilight was like a bad TV episode on the WB network, and New Moon is not much better. Its the casting that really brings down these films. Kristin Stewart is an decent Bella, and Jacob and Charlie are represented well, but my god Robert Pattinson is the worst Edward imaginable. Edward is supposed to be strong character, but you've got Pattinson prancing around like a pansy. Throw in his cardboard character acting style, and you've got an Edward with no on screen passion or chemistry. Just awkward and bad.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
