An opinion of this movie will depend on whether you have read the book(s). Because I have I was able to fill in the storylines that the movie failed to provide. If you haven't, I would guess that you'll be left wondering. If you've read the books, you will mourn the loss of powerful character development. A higher budget is needed for the second in the series so the special effects are realistic. All characters (some more than others) could use acting classes. Having said all that, much of the sexual tension in the book IS brought to the screen. Continue and build on that in the next movie (without going too far - because Edward never did) the studio will ensure a third hit movie.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
