We went opening weekend with another couple. One of us is a confirmed musical hater, who grudgingly went along. Even he was happy. The four of us are of an age that we were adults (by a couple to a decade of years) (not teens) when ABBA's music was popular the first time around, and none of us was particularly an ABBA fan. So what's to like? An endearing story with some comedy prat falls. Beautiful people, stunning scenery (Greek Isle), great choreography, with lots of recognizable, feel good or poignant music sung well by people who are not ordinarily considered "voices," all with more than a touch of self-deprecating humor. All in all, great entertainment.
