One Fun Pirate!

I saw this movie in IMAX 3D and I thought the 3D and sound were awesome and the movie itself was lots of fun to watch. The plot may not have been an intricate one, but the characters and movie was very entertaining nonetheless. Capt. Jack and Angelica had good chemistry and I loved the humorous comments made by Jack and others during the movie. Don't forget to stay after the credits, since there is a very quick scene at the very end that adds a new amusing twist to the outcome. Definitely go see it.

Action Packed & Entertaining

This movie was loaded with action and very entertaining. Yes, it was high on testosterone & there is no way these guys could do this stuff in real life and not get a scratch, but who cares.....it's a movie. There was humor and my favorite scenes- the scene with Arnold and Bruce, and the scene with Jason Statham and the guys playing basketball. I saw this movie with my husband mainly because he wanted to see it, but I was glad I did. I think if the movie does well, we might see a part 2.

The story was the same as the original, although not as good, and the 3D was definitely not worth it. If you really want to see this movie, then just wait until it is out of the movies. I feel as if I was cheated out of $4.00 for 3D glasses, for a movie that was barely 3D. Save your hard earned cash for a more worthwhile expenditure.

This movie was excellent & visually stunning. I was apprehensive at first, because it is a long movie & I thought I might be bored. I had no need to worry, because I was interested from start to finish. I disagree with some critics saying that the movie had a weak storyline. The plot kept my interest & the IMAX 3D, sound & special effects were fantastic. I recommended this movie to everyone that I know.

The movie was good, but not really as I had expected with such a great cast. I think everyone knows the basic storyline, so there is no suspense there. I did like the transitions into the Wolfman, but they too could not compare to American Werewolf in London. The setting gave an authentic feel to the movie, but I think you should see this movie only if you can get discounted tickets. I would opt for Avatar in IMAX 3D instead.

Definitely Big Screen Material

I think this movie had it all...a good storyline, humor, action & acting that was believable. Downey, Jr. played his character with just the right amount of arrogance to make you feel like he might be someone you know in your life. :-) Paltrow was just right for the part & everyone played off each other very well. I even think the soundtrack was well suited. In other words, go see this movie! Remember it is a fantasy, so don't look too deeply into how he did some of the things he did.
