The movie was awesome. It was historically accurate and emotional, without seeming like it tried to be. Sean Penn did a great job and the supporting cast. I went with someone totally unfamiliar with those times and the story, and he also enjoyed it and cried at the end.
It received applause from the entire sold out theatre in San Diego.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
