This was one of the best adaptations of a Nicholas Spark's book since the Notebook.It flowed well, and had enough action for the folks that do not avidly read his novels. The opening on Valentine's Day made it far more meaningful, especially considering what the last 5 min of the film hold.
Pros well paced

waste of money ,time and effort. mind-numbingly dumb and predictable plot. foolish stunts and zero charisma from any of the actors. the entire audience looked dumbfounded as we exited.
the only thing on target was the title- it truly was a "dark night" afterall. we would have been better off spending the money @ the gas station!
