Dull Action, Predictable, Performances Phoned In

I wondered why this movie didn't do better, especially with the cast that had been lined up...now I know. It wasn't that bad, however; your movie dollar could be better spent. The film did seem to move along at a steady pace, but there wasn't enough character development, the action wasn't that exciting except in a couple of places, and the performances were not the quality I expected from this cast. I was disappointed, and only wish I had waited for rental.

After School Special

This was disappointing. Sure, there were moments of excellent performances, but the entire movie lets you down. Few of the characters are explored very deeply, some not at all, and you never seem to get any satisfaction from any of the plot lines, and there were many. This would have made an interesting television series, maybe a mini-series, but fails as a movie. Matt Damon is still cute.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Don't look for a deep plot, this movie does great at what it's for...action, and plenty of it. Great action, good story, good performances, you won't look at your watch.

Interesting, Even If Sometimes Predictable

Great cast, not enough dialog or depp enough involvement for the stars McGregor, Douglas, Fassbender, Banderas, but it kept a steady pace with great action sequences. Not a lot new here, but I enjoyed this Soderbergh venture into a hand to hand action flick.

Great Holiday Treat!

With any sequel, I go with limited expectations...was I pleasantly surprised! Great action sequences, wonderful performances, and an intriguing storyline, all added up to one of the most fun movie experiences I've had all year. Enjoyable movie all around, grab the popcorn and a soda, and you'll be all set.

Still Working The Franchise...Successfully

Went to see MI4 in Imax, and it was worth every penny. The plot really moves, and as the story develops, there's not a boring moment. If you like the suspense, thiller, action, secret agent genre, you couldn't do much better. A great choice for the holidays!

As Good As Expected

I've been waiting what seems like two years for this movie. After starting a little slow at first, it built into a great film. Even with all of the hype, I still managed to enjoy every moment. Great mystery plus a little action, and it even has a plot...who knew! The most intense scenes are not for the faint of heart (turn away if you must), but I would recommend for everyone...a must see for the intense gritty murder mystery lovers this holiday.

Great 3D Experience

Sure, the story and characters are a little worn, but Immortals 3D keeps the pace going, and the 3D effects are terrific, worth the bucks to experience in 3D.

A Dark, Pleasant Surprise

Reviews and nominations come and go, I kept my expectations low for this movie, especially not being the fondest of ballet. What a pleasant surprise...terrific performances, moved at a great pace, depth to the characters...all in all, one of the best, if not the best suspense/thriller of 2010. A must see!
