Very good

We enjoyed this movie a lot. It followed the book and did very good job of it. I was hoping they start with the before car, but it was fine where it started. Hope everyone is staying to see the part after the credits start. The lights didn't come up in our theatre until after that part, but some had got up not sure if they had left the auditorium.

Very entertaining - highly recommend

This movie was entertaining all through the movie. It's not like anything else I have seen. First of all I get burned on comedies so that was what I was expecting. I was pleasantly surprised! The chuckles were well put in, nothing dumb or pottie jokes thank goodness. The only downside is the voice of Eddie Murphy will always be the donkey in Shrek and that is what I thought of when Eddie Murphy talks. Hope he got well paid for his voice in Shrek. "Tower Heist" was worth the money, time, and effort to go see in the theatre.

strange as usual

I'm a "johnny come lately" to liking Johnny Depp's movies (2007). I have seen "fear and loathing in Las Vegas" which was totally weird like "dead man" and others. So I never expect much from Johnny Depp's movies except weird and I wasn't disappointed. I have been to Puerto Rico not in 1960, but knew it was 3rd world country type of place, and this brought this out. It was interesting and it was beautiful to see Johnny Depp act.
P.S. What is the point of walking out? You paid for it what you got going on that is more important than finishing a movie? The theatre we went to there were 6 people in the theatre when it started and 2 others besides us when it was over. Gheesh all don't you know what you are walking into before you go? I read interviews about the movie, seen interviews on tv, knew what to expect of Johnny Depp movies, knew what I was walking into why didn't you know? It wasn't any big secret. He doesn't always make great movies most aren't in fact. Pirates of the Caribbean movies really are is only great successes and considered good.

Excellent Family Movie!

We have been hungry for a good movie and this fit the bill. It was excellent in every way, the actors were just wonderful and for once the lady wasn't a tramp, but a real person of the heart. The little boy and Hugh Grant wonderful and the story was excellent. Go see and enjoy!

This movie wasn't the best I had ever seen and slow at points. Developing of the characters slow the story and the talking between characters gave an awful feeling at times. The acting was good, delivering of the story was complete though I had ?? at the end.

Burn it

This movie gets a star because of the acting and the learning experience. Learning because I learned how bad a movie can be and not to get tickets to the balconey of a dinner theatre on Tuesday anymore. You need to be able to read the reviews to make sure its worth going to.
I wanted to walk out because of the way it was made got old real fast blurry, stop - go action, moving around. It was good it was a short movie, but it felt like a rip off when it was over. The whole thing was rinky dink and the writers, producers, studio should be ashame of themselves dragging the actors and tricking the audience into this mess. Raz award would be too good for this movie.

Alot of killing

This movie had good acting except the main heroine was lacking although she was beautiful. Some of the men really were good actors. It was dark and hard to follow the action although it was action throughout. Their was a story and easy to follow.
We never saw the original and I think Arnold hurt this one just because he was associated with the name. Our theatre that is never empty was near empty and amazing to see it that way.

From the name I didn't expect much, but was curious about the movie. The acting was good, the story was good, the reality of the town was good. Overall I enjoyed the movie.

My husband and I really enjoyed this movie. It was entertaining the whole time and we talked about it on the way home. How did they do that?
I liked the story, the characters and the realism.
