Great spin on an old classic

I loved the movie. Johnny Depp never ceases to amaze me by bringing such depth to a character I thought I'd always known. His portrayal of the Mad Hatter was wonderful. The movie was a refreshing spin on the old classic and is definitely worth seeing. I brought my 8, 9 and 15 year old children along with my 90 year old grandma and each of them loved the movie for different reasons. I was afraid it would be "dark" given Tim Burton's style, but it was not. Each of my children even asked if we could see it again.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
