This movie goes to a very new place as a destination and as a movie. It successfully creates a new world and a new indigenous culture that demands respect and admiration. Although the story is a familiar one in general terms, it is a potent one and is indeed delivered with a new visual precision and character never seen before in a film. This movie truly breaks new ground and delivers a powerful new art form in film.
