My 2 sons and I went. I have been a comic book fan all my life and my older son as well. My other son was skeptical of Superman but said it was awesome. It did not overplay the story of Superman and did just enough to get an understanding of his life growing up (Costner was great). Just enough human interest as well (not too syrupy). Zod was terrific in his role. Faora was outstanding in her role. A Real bad ass. She was one of the best parts of the movie in my opinion. One small hiccup for me was there was too much going through buildings in the end with Zod and Superman battling it out. But that is really just a trivial complaint really. Hooray for DC Comics .Anyway - go see it!
